Cyclical Works
The Town Council performs a series of repairs, repainting and replacements works on a cyclical basis in order to upkeep our estates in good condition. This ensures that residents living in older estates enjoy amenities, comfort and convenience that is on par with those found in newer blocks.
Our schedule of cyclical works include:
  • Repairs and redecoration Repairs and redecoration Repairs and redecoration (R&R) - Blocks are given a fresh coat of paint and an updated colour scheme. Façade improvements may also be carried out.
  • Re-roofing Re-roofing Re-roofing - The waterproofing membranes and secondary roof slab are checked and replaced.
  • Electrical load upgrading/Electrical rewiring Electrical load upgrading/Electrical rewiring Electrical load upgrading/Electrical rewiring - Electrical wires and circuits are upgraded and replaced in order to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Pump maintenance and replacement Pump maintenance and replacement Pump maintenance and replacement - Booster and transfer pumps at our blocks are regularly checked, serviced and maintained. This facilitates suitable water pressure and uninterrupted water supply.
  • Lift works Lift works Lift works - Various components are checked, maintained and replaced on a regular basis so as to minimise lift downtime and ensure reliable and safe service to residents.
