Clean & Green Singapore 2014

In conjunction with Clean and Green Singapore 2014, Sembawang Town Council will be continuing with our long tradition of green-awareness and ecologically friendly activities for October and November. 
During our divisional Clean and Green Day, our MPs and residents will come together to plant new trees as a symbol of our commitment to preserving and beautifying our environment. We will also be awarding our best cleaners with certificates and prizes.

More exciting plans are in store for Sembawang Town. Work has commenced on the Thomson-East Coast Line (TEL) with the official groundbreaking ceremony held in June. Three new stations will be added to Woodlands, in line with plans to transform our town into the Northern regional hub. Bus Service Enhancement Programme

Have you heard of the BSEP? The Bus Service Enhancement Programme is the government's initiative to help enhance bus services and address peak-hour demand.

For Sembawang town, additional buses have been added to 8 bus routes: 161, 858, 882, 900, 901, 903, 913 and 966. Along with improvements (such as new double-decker buses) to 5 other services: 882, 951E, 963, 966 and 969, a whopping 79 buses have been added to those serving Sembawang GRC, thanks to the BSEP.
